Clifton, NJ - April 5, 2024 - Today, the Cybersecurity Coalition, a consortium of leading EdTech organizations committed to enhancing cybersecurity preparedness in schools, proudly announces the successful training of 300 Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluators (CCRE). This milestone marks a significant step forward in fortifying schools nationwide against the growing threat of cyberattacks.

The coalition launched its groundbreaking cybersecurity initiative a year ago, recognizing the pressing need for schools to strengthen their cybersecurity defenses.

By providing free access to their education-focused Cybersecurity Rubric, the coalition empowers schools to effectively assess their cybersecurity readiness. Moreover, the coalition offers the Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator (CCRE) training and certification program. The online CCRE program offers an affordable way for schools to cultivate their own cybersecurity professionals.

Education leaders face a critical challenge in bolstering cybersecurity within schools, a struggle compounded by the shortage of cybersecurity experts. We're immensely proud to have cultivated 300 new cybersecurity professionals nationwide who are poised to support schools in safeguarding against cyber threats.
